Suzuki gear up for new Hayabusa

Concept GSX hints at direction as insiders confirm project exists
The Recursion concept used a 588cc engine, and as per Suzuki, the motorcycle makes big-bike power from mid-size displacement. It is unclear if Suzuki will downsize displacement for the new Hayabusa, or maintain the same displacement.
Suzuki has also filed a patent for a turbocharged hybrid technology paired to a litre class engine. The system employs two Motor Generator Units (MGU) to increase power without compromising on fuel economy. It is not clear whether this tech will be seen on board the Hayabusa or now.
If Suzuki decides to maintain litre-class displacement with the next generation Hayabusa and turbocharge the motorcycle, the Kawasaki H2 and the H2R will face a threat, making it an intense battle.
As seen in the 2017 Suzuki GSX-R1000R, the new Hayabusa will come with all sorts of electronic goodies such as different ride modes, multi-level traction control, cornering ABS, IMU and TFT digital instrument console. It will also undergo cosmetic updates with a new fairing and is also likely to sport LED headlamps, a sharper design and an all over modern look to attract new customers. What will be the end product is something we can only speculate, but we are sure that Suzuki will ride in the new Hayabusa with all guns blazing and we can’t wait for the next generation peregrine falcon!
