Thunderbird 350x & 500x
All Royal Enfield fans thought that RE would never update there motorcycle but it seems that RE decided to launch a new variant to its Thunderbird Motorcycle range ,They are none other than Thunderbird 350x And 500x.Apart from cosmetic changes it seems there are no major changes in the motorcycles hardware.
Here are the Changes;
- 9 Spoke Alloy Wheel at both side
- New Short Handlebar
- LED daytime running lamp
- All new single piece seat unit
- New integrated grab rails for pillion
- New colour scheme and matt black treatment all over the body
Apart from that there seems to be no apparent changes in this motorcycle. It would be powered by same 350cc and 500cc single cylinder air cooled 4 stroke 2 valve twin spark engine producing 19.8 bhp and 28 nm for 350cc and 27 bhp and 41nm for 500cc twin engine. Presence of ABS is still a mystery and seems to be no change in the chassis. It would likely to get same 19' front with 90/90 front tyre and 18' rear with 120/80 tyre. It would get the same size of disk brake which consist of 280mm single disk at front and 240mm at rear.It would likely to be prized 10,000-20,000 INR extra over the standard model.
