Benelli Confirms TNT 750 cc Twin Unveiling Looks Certain Next Month

Benelli TNT 750

The speculated 750 from Benelli is a reality. It was snapped at a dealership somewhere out of India back in February this year which was its first live spotting and confirmed that such a motorcycle is indeed under works. But it was surprising that even after so many months there was no sneak/hint from Benelli specially because the motorcycle looked production-ready.

In a latest update, Dante Bustos, Marketing Manager, Benelli, has confirmed that they will unveil a brand new twin cylinder 750 cc engine at the upcoming EICMA (scheduled from 7th November), in an interview to Paultan.org. This is a direct hint that the motorcycle adorning this motor will be this 750 naked, which could be called as TNT 750.

This 750 cc parallel twin motor is Benelli’s answer to the 799 cc parallel twin competitor coming out from the house of KTM. Images here (of the red motorcycle, yellow one is the earlier leak) show a neatly packaged naked roadster. These pics specifically emphasise that Benelli took a lot of inspiration from Ducati Monster and some from Kawasaki’s ER-6N as well.

In terms of features, there are twin projectors stacked one over the other, fat upside down forks, exposed steel trellis frame, ABS etc.

If we talk about power output we guess it will be between 100-105 bhp. To give you an idea, the TNT 600 churns out 83 bhp while the TNT 899 has 119 bhp of maximum power. With 100 horses under the belly and weight expected to be low, it must be an interesting motorcycle to ride.

Official unveiling scheduled for EICMA, we are expecting deliveries to commence early next year. With DSK Benelli of India in aggression, we do expect the 750 to come here. Timelines (for our market) can not be predicted at the moment but an Auto Expo showcase can not be ruled out.
